VIDEO ART SUPPORTS

JENN MOGILEVSKAYA (RU)

In this video I try to capture qualities such as vulnerability, out of control and primitiveness. I try to awake forgotten, hidden feelings and revive them. Doing so, I ask what have remained as a memory of them, how to emotionally stimulate them and by that shine a light on them? Which tools are necessary for this kind of experiment in order to bring visible and audible change and regeneration?
I use a flute, an object which holds a sentimental meaning for me (childhood memory). The antique sound of the flute acts as a catalyst to empower the sensory awaking.
