Luis Lopes was born in Oporto in 1982 and graduated in Sound Design for Cinema at the School of Arts, UCP, in Oporto, 2006. He won two awards for Best Audio-Fiction at "Black & White" Festival 2005 and 2006. I entered the "Visual Spectrum" in 2004 as a founding member of the Leitmotif and Ikix groups and since then has developed projects in video art, installation and visual performance.
Around 2012 begins to embark on the cinematografy and visual production using the name of Synkronos. "Meta-Semioptika" is his first short film, having won in November 2016 the Prize for Best Public Film
at the 25th edition of dokumentArt festival in Neubrandenburg, Germany.
